You are special, Period. 

Ever felt like you are worth nothing,that you are of not special but just some average Joe? Ever hated yourself for these reasons. Just stop that right f…… now. 

You are a really special human being who is born with a special purpose. Your purpose? To stay happy. That’s it. You don’t have to worry about anything else. 

You were not born to move mountains or build bridges you were just born to keep yourself happy. You weren’t born to meet society’s expectations or demands. You were just born for yourself not anyone else. 

You shouldn’t care about leaving a legacy or winning a nobel prize. You should just care about who you are, what you want and what makes you happy. 

SO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY? 

This question’s answer is what makes you special. The answer differs you from all the 7 billion people on this planet. So please, stop trying to do good in your life and do what makes you happy. Go crazy, go broke but just don’t stop. Don’t stay stuck at a place in your life. 

And just remember that you are special, as special as anyone around you. Just go out there and find your specialty and you may find peace…. 🌠

How to bring the change in your life? 

I have observed many people going through several mental issues while they are about to face a change in their life. 

Change scares us, even if we want change we are scared to work for it. We often don’t have the courage to bring the change in ourselves which we know will change our life. We just keep thinking about it, stressing ourselves more and more. 

So how to change? 

Is the change necessary? 

First of all we have to ask ourselves this question. We often keep stressing about the change which will bring no good to us but still we want that change as someone else has done it. 

Stop thinking about what someone else has done, what were its result hor him/her and ask yourself honestly whether this will be good for me or not. 

One of my friend started doing yoga just because his co-worker had became more calm after joining the world of yoga. The results of yoga were just opposite for my friend. He already had a very busy life and after joining yoga classes he was just stressing more about completing his appointments on time and going to yoga classes on time. 
So please analyze your situation before just decide to do something which worked for someone else. 

So what about the important changes which matter? 

Okay let’s talk about those. 

I know for sure that how hard change is. Leaving your old bad habits and starting something new isn’t easy, it’s hard. 

Here are five ways which will certainly help you – 

1. Don’t go all in

Don’t try to remove all of your bad habits at once. Doing this will result in nothing but failure. So start by one and get yourself free from it and move on to the next one. Take my advice start with the easiest one. For example – not putting your keys at the right place. These habits can be replaced easily and gives you confidence for the harder ones.

2. Set rewards and punishments(highly recommended) 

This is a really efficient way and it is also very simple. Just set rewards you will give yourself when you progress and punishment when you don’t. Cutting social media, not eating favorite food are the kind of punishments I suggest. Reward can be anything you like (not a boat 🚤of course). This trick will definitely help you in achieving the best you. 

3. Let people know you are changing. 

Telling your acquaintances that you are trying to quit a habit makes sure they not (unintentionally) promote you to get back to your old habit. For example – If you tell your acquaintances that you are trying to quit smoking they will make sure they don’t smoke in front of you and not promote you to get back at it. 

4. Change your environment 

Slight changes in environment can help you a lot in quitting your bad habits. Want to become more active? Move every thing of common use away from where you normally sit so you have to work every time you need anything. This is a self tested method which does wonders for you. 

5. Kick out the distractions

Live where you are…..

Forget about your future, forget about your past just live in present for a while.Do what you like,eat what you love and just let it all go.

I know for a fact that most of us feel terrible just because of our past events or ‘likely’ unstable future. We just keep worrying and worrying about those things that just not matter now. So please stop doing that to your self and start living in the present. Don’t worry about your future or past. Focus on present. 

What I mean by living in the present – 

Obviously iIdon’t mean that to just go berserk and quit your job because you can afford a trip to Vegas for now. By saying that you should live in the present I mean that you should do things which makes you happy now and just do some work so you can keep doing such things in the future. 

Sounds contradicting? 

Well let me elaborate better

According to me one should just care about those things in future which we can control and we should not worry about things which are far out of our control. For example – Worrying about whether you will get a promotion or not this year will not make anything better for you. This worry may feel like no big deal but a heap of such worries can make your life miserable. Want a promotion? Just go to work, do your best and enjoy(If you can’t enjoy your work, then certainly you don’t deserve a promotion). Just forget about the result. If you get a promotion, celebrate if you don’t get the promotion still celebrate (just try to keep it low). Life is meant to be celebrated, please don’t waste it worrying about future. 

Enough about the future let’s talk about past-

 ‘ Accept your past ‘

This is the best advice I can give you but it is easier said than done. 

So, how to accept your past?( Try hypnotism😶? ) 

There is a great quote by Brian Tracy that I would like to share- 

“You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you”

This quote captures my idea perfectly. You can’t change your past but you can find good in it. Always look at the brightest side. If you keep a positive attitude you can find something positive in the worst moments of your life. The worst thing happened to you must have done something good for you. For example if you are just divorced think about the opportunities it opens for you. You don’t have to answer your spouse any more, you can go out dating again but you can’t get back with him/her, so just don’t look that way. You deserve a lot better. 

Friends living in the present is the first part of self development. Enjoy your present(🎁) and always keep looking for opportunities.
